My Gypsy Wife: Part 3

I got all of the blocks up on my design wall and started arranging them according to the pattern. The quilt just started to grow.

And then I started to add the strips.

The piecing process was definitely unique. It tested my abilities as a quilter for sure. I now feel rather confident when it comes to partial seams though. I have a feeling that this will be my new favorite couch quilt. Or at least a very solid contender for the Good Folks Quilt (my current couch quilt). Happy sewing!

  11. I'm working on this quilt too! It is so much fun, yet it is frustrating sometimes. I see that you made the second hourglass block from page 21. It's the one right under the nurses cross block. I made the hourglass and the border, but the triangles are too small. Do you happen to remember if the directions were incorrect for that? I need to fiddle around with it a bit I guess. Hopefully I won't waste too much more fabric

  12. This is beautiful. How difficult are the instructions on this? Have the errata been corrected?
